On the afternoon of April 27, 2020 at 3:30 pm, in order to improve fire safety skills, unite team spirit, enhance the ability of all employees to prevent and extinguish fires, ensure rapid and timely fire extinguishing and material evacuation in emergency situations, and achieve the goal of everyone knowing how to use fire equipment, handle fire accidents, and understand fire extinguishing methods, the company organized the 2020 fire emergency drill and fire sports meeting. Mr. Zhou Kangkang, the general manager of the company, personally attended the award ceremony for the winners.

The 2020 Fire Games is divided into two chapters. Firstly, training and practical training were provided on fire emergency response equipment, and emergency drills were conducted in simulated fire environments. The second chapter features individual and team competitions organized by pre registered participants. A total of 50 people registered to participate in the individual 100 meter fire extinguishing race, but 48 actually participated in the race. Athletes quickly started from the starting point, ran to a distance of 20 meters, picked up the fire extinguisher, ran quickly to the finish line, collided with the line, opened the safety hydrant, and sprayed the fire extinguishing agent for timing. The fire extinguisher must not fall to the ground halfway. Both the person and the fire extinguisher must rush to the finish line at the same time, open the safety hydrant, spray the fire extinguishing agent, and complete the final action to score. Zhang Runze from Workshop Jin 2 and Yang Zhengxiang from Workshop Jin 1 respectively won the first prize in the individual 100 meter fire extinguishing competition for male and female employees. Li Yong, Chen Feng, and Peng Yin respectively won the second prize in the individual 100 meter fire extinguishing competition for male and female employees. Zhang Qigui, Cao Yi, Wu Jiawei, and Dai Haifang respectively won the third prize in the individual 100 meter fire extinguishing competition for male and female employees.

This firefighting sports meet also held a team competition for firefighting water operation, with 14 people from 7 teams from each department participating. After hearing the order, the team members quickly grabbed the water hose and water gun, ran to a distance of 20 meters, threw away the water hose, and left an interface. The other end quickly connected to the interface of the other water hose, and both water hoses were connected. The front end was connected to the fire hydrant, and the last end was connected to the water gun head; Calculate the score based on the water output and spraying onto the score board; Take the shortest time to rank. The second team of the steel strip workshop, Qin Daohai and Chen Feng, won the first prize in the fire water operation team competition, while the teams of the second workshop, Wang Mingliang and Wang Qianjin, won the second prize in the fire water operation team competition.

This competition combines education with entertainment, allowing all participating employees to learn how to handle emergency fire accidents, achieving the goal of everyone being able to use fire-fighting equipment, handle fire accidents, and understand fire extinguishing methods. Next, we will select the Zhejiang Boxing Volunteer Fire Brigade based on the results of this competition, strengthen daily training, and build a fire disposal team that can win battles.
